Privacy Notice

This Privacy Notice describes how Value Minerals, the operator of the Value Minerals platform, handles personal data. It applies to the Value Minerals website, mobile applications and connected-TV applications. Please read it together with our Terms of Use. SECTION 1 — CATEGORIES OF DATA (a) Identifiers you give us: mobile number at sign-up; optionally a display name and email address. (b) Usage records: titles played, playback position, playback quality, session start and end timestamps. (c) Technical identifiers: device model, OS build, application build, network carrier, IP address and the coarse geographic region it resolves to. (d) Billing records: plan purchased, amount, currency, gateway reference and settlement status. Card and UPI credentials are handled entirely by the gateway and are not transmitted to us. SECTION 2 — PURPOSES AND LEGAL BASIS We process (a) and (d) to perform our contract with you — without them we cannot provide the service or bill you. We process (b) and (c) on the basis of our legitimate interest in operating a reliable, personalised and secure platform. Where we rely on consent, such as for promotional messages, you may withdraw it at any time. SECTION 3 — RECIPIENTS Data is disclosed to: our content delivery network and cloud hosting providers; our licensed payment gateways; analytics processors bound by contract to use the data only on our instructions; and competent authorities where disclosure is compelled by law. We do not sell personal data and we do not share it with advertisers for their own purposes. SECTION 4 — EXERCISING YOUR RIGHTS You have the right of access, correction, erasure, and withdrawal of consent. Submit a request to valueminerals@gmail.com from the address or number registered on your account. We acknowledge requests within 7 working days and resolve them within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you may escalate to our Grievance Officer, Laxman Mane, at valueminerals@gmail.com. SECTION 5 — STORAGE PERIOD Active account data is retained for the life of the account. Following closure, identifiers are erased within 90 days and usage records are irreversibly aggregated. Billing records are retained for 8 years as required by applicable tax law.
